Srinagar, June 24 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Tehreek-e-Hurriyat (TeH) Jammu and Kashmir has strongly denounced the crackdown by Indian army in Kundlan and Nagi Sharan areas of Shopian.

Tehreek-e-Hurriyat in a statement issued in Srinagar said that during the operation, Indian forces’ personnel damaged the residential houses and vehicles besides thrashing the residents including women. It quoted the locals as saying that since the setting up of a new army camp, the forces’ personnel had made the life of the people miserable and were subjecting the residents to atrocities.

Tehreek-e-Hurriyat appealed to the world human rights organizations to take notice of the Indian brutalities in occupied Kashmir and play their role in mitigating the sufferings of the oppressed Kashmiris.
