Srinagar, July 03 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred two more Kashmiri youth and injured many in Pulwama district, today.

The youth identified as Kifayat Ahmad and Jahangir Khanday were killed during a violent crackdown operation in Bahmnoo area of the district. Several people were injured, two of them critically when troops fired bullets and pellets on protesters in the area. In another incident, a fast moving vehicle of the Indian army deliberately hit and killed a civilian identified as Ghulam Hassan Rashi in Pattan area of Baramulla district. »

Srinagar, July 03 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Chairman, Muhammad Yasin Malik wrote an open letter to the “world most powerful country”, reminding it of how it failed to question India over the sabotage of the 2006 Kashmir resolution process by the Indian bureaucracy.

Srinagar, July 03 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, senior leader of the All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC), Agha Hasan Al-Moosvi Al-Safvi and other Hurriyet leaders and organizations have paid glowing tributes to Jehanghir Ahmad and Kifayat Ahmad martyred by Indian forces during a siege and search operation at Pulwama Bahmnoo.

Agha Hasan Al-Moosvi Al-Safvi in a statement issued in Srinagar, paying rich tributes to the martyrs, said that their sacrifices had internationalized the Kashmir dispute and would bring fruit. »

A JKLF spokesman told media men in Srinagar that a posse of police raided the party office and arrested Muhammad Yasin Malik. »

Srinagar, July 03 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference while terming the so-called notice issued by New Delhi’s Enforcement Directorate (ED) as unjustified and politically motivated has said that the authorities are plotting to tarnish the stature of APHC Chairman Syed Ali Gilani and his colleagues.

An APHC spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said the move is an attempt to pressurize and intimidate Gilani and the resistance leadership. The ED had served a notice to Syed Ali Gilani and others in a fifteen-year-old fake case. »

Srinagar, July 03 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, on 27th November 1993, Ghulam Mohi-ud-din Pundit’s family found itself homeless after Indian soldiers drove them out of their 18-bedroom farmhouse and 60 kanals of land to establish a base to crush Kashmiris’ freedom struggle.

Twenty-four years since the occupation, the family has been living in a ramshackle house. In 1990s, troops looked to occupy strategic locations to oversee Sopore streets. Several houses were occupied by the Indian army, evicting families and leaving them in an unending struggle to regain the possession of their properties. »
