Indian troops martyr two Kashmiri youth in KupwaraProtesters subjected to teargas shelling in Srinagar

Srinagar, July 10 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops, in their fresh act of state terrorism, martyred two Kashmiri youth in Kupwara district, today.

The troops killed the youth during a violent military operation in Naugam area of the district. The operation was going on till reports last came in.

An Indian army officer claimed that the youth were militants and were killed in a clash with the troops.

On the other hand, several people including two women were injured after Indian forces’ personnel fired teargas shells on protesters in Pantha Chhoke area of Srinagar. The protests erupted in the area after the troops of Indian Central Reserve Police Force thrashed a driver, Firdous Ahmad, this morning. The protests resulted in a massive traffic jam on Srinagar-Jammu highway, leaving thousands of vehicles stranded.

Meanwhile, Indian police arrested a Hurriyat activist, Hussain Wagay, from Islamabad town.
