Srinagar, July 22 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyat leaders have strongly denounced the cold-blooded murder of an innocent youth, Tanveer Ahmad Wani, by Indian Army in Budgam district.

Tanveer Ahmad Wani was killed when a patrolling party of Indian Army opened fire on protesting youth in Beerwah area of the district on Friday.

The Chairman of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Syed Ali Gilani, in a statement issued in Srinagar termed the killing of Tanveer Ahmad as the worst example of state terrorism. He said that Indian police and troops were carrying out genocide of Kashmiris in a planned manner. Unless and until these forces’ personnel are made accountable for their wrongdoings the killing spree will go unabated, he said. »

Srinagar, July 22 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, complete strike is being observed, today, in Zirpora area of Bijbehara – the home town of puppet Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti – against the brutalities of Indian forces.

The shutdown is being observed against the damaging of windowpanes of a mosque and atrocities by the forces’ personnel. The forces had damaged the windowpanes of Shahi Masjid last evening.

Meanwhile, tight security arrangements have been made in the area ahead of scheduled visit of Mehbooba Mufti to her hometown. »

Srinagar, July 22 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, eight policemen, including an Assistant Sub-Inspector, were injured after Indian Army men thrashed them in Gund area of Ganderbal district.

According to Kashmir Media Service, a police official told media that Army soldiers of 24 Rashtriya Rifles barged into police station Gund, beat up policemen on duty and ransacked the property of the police station late Friday night. He said that at least 32 army men in civvies barged into the police station building and attacked the policemen there. »

Srinagar, July 22 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, member of the so-called Kashmir Assembly, Engineer Abdur Rasheed, has held all those, including Indian Defense Minister, Arun Jaitley, and Army Chief, General Bipin Rawat, who praised Major Gogoi for using Farooq Dar as human shield, directly responsible for the murder of Tanveer Ahmad Wani at Beerwah in Budgam.

Engineer Abdur Rasheed in a statement issued in Srinagar asked Indian police to show “guts” and arrest Major Gogoi if they have some sense of responsibility.

“Let Indians feel some shame as their provocations emboldened Major Gogoi who after using Farooq Ahmad Dar as human shield got murdered Tanveer Ahmad Wani at the hands of the troops of his company without any reason. »

Srinagar, July 22 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, complete shutdown is being observed in Beerwah town and its adjoining areas in Budgam district, today, to protest the killing of a youth in Indian Army’s firing.

The youth, Tanveer Ahmad Wani,  a young tailor, was shot dead by the army during protests in Beerwah town, yesterday. »

Srinagar, July 21 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, one youth was killed and several others were injured, today, due to the firing of bullets, pellets and teargas shells on peaceful protesters by Indian army, police and paramilitary personnel.

A patrolling party of Indian Army fired open protesting youth in Beerwah area of Badgam district killing one of them Tanveer Ahmad Wani. Eyewitnesses said that Tanveer Ahmed received a bullet in his head.

Indian police arrested the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front Chairman, Muhammad Yasin Malik, along with many party activists at Dalgate in Srinagar when he was leading a march towards the UN office at Sonawar where a sit-in protest was to be held. Call for the sit-in was given by the joint resistance leadership to draw attention of the UN towards surge in the killings by Indian forces in the territory. »
