Srinagar, July 23 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, a soldier of Indian Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) died after he was denied permission by his company commander to see a doctor at Wanpoh in Qazigund area of Islamabad district.

Police sources told media that the CRPF troops angry over the death of their colleague thrashed the company commander.

The deceased soldier was posted at railway station in Wanpoh area of the district.

Srinagar, July 23 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Working President of Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference, Jahangir Ghani Butt, has said that the puppet administration has converted the territory into a police state where Indian forces have been given a free hand to commit human rights violations.

Jahangir Ghani Butt in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the recent killing of an innocent youth, Tanveer Ahmad, by Indian Army in Beerwah area of Budgam was part of India’s policy to kill all Kashmiris. »

Srinagar, July 23 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, APHC General Secretary and the Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) Chairman, Shabbir Ahmad Shah has said that India is hell bent upon suppressing the Kashmiris’ freedom movement through military might but is destined to fail in its designs.

Shabbir Ahmad Shah, who is under continued house arrest in Srinagar, said this while talking over phone to the family members of martyred youth, Tanveer Ahmed Wani. Tanveer was martyred when Indian Army personnel opened fire on protesters in the area on Friday. »

Srinagar, July 23 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the illegally detained Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF), Muhammad Yasin Malik, was brought to a hospital in Srinagar and was later shifted back to central jail after medical checkups despite his ailing health.

A JKLF spokesman said that Muhammad Yasin Malik was brought to Modern Hospital in Srinagar where senior heart surgeon, Doctor Anil Bhan, examined him. He said that Yasin Malik’s artificial heart valve is not functioning properly and has developed some faults. He said, doctor has advised the JKLF chief to go for further medical examinations to ascertain and diagnose the exact position of the heart valve. »

Srinagar, July 23 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops, in their fresh act of state terrorism, martyred one Kashmiri youth in Kupwara district, today.

The troops killed the youth during a military operation in Machil area of the district. The operation continued till reports last came in.

Meanwhile, Indian police arrested three youth in Tengpora area of Srinagar. The police took the youth into custody when they were travelling in a passenger vehicle.

Srinagar, July 23 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) has said that thrashing of Kashmiri policemen by Indian Army personnel in Gund area of Ganderbal shows that even Kashmiri policemen are not secure and the incident illustrates the grave situation the common civilians in territory are facing.

The APHC spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar commenting over the incident said, “It serves a bitter lesson for those officials and officers who for medals and material gains behave as more loyal than king.” »

Srinagar, July 23 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Hurriyet forum led by Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has said that the occupied territory is the world’s highest militarized zone where a common man is completely at mercy of Indian forces.

The forum spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the huge deployment of Indian troops and police personnel in every nook and corner of the territory was the prime reason for the rising graph of human rights violations. He said that so far not a single soldier or policeman involved in grave human rights abuses had been brought before the court of law. Probes ordered time and again and the commissions probing serious cases of human rights violations are just eyewash to ensure no solider is convicted, he deplored. »

Srinagar, July 23 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, people staged a demonstration in Beerwah area of Budgam district against the cold-blooded murder of a youth, Tanveer Ahmed Wani, by Indian Army.

Tanveer Ahmad Wani was killed when a patrolling party of Indian Army personnel opened fire on protesting youth in Beerwah on Friday.

Many resistance leaders managed to reach the residence of the slain youth and later staged a peaceful protest against his killing. The youth accompanied the resistance leaders up to the martyrs’ graveyard where they offered fateha. »
