KU students stage protest against governor’s visit Campus reverberates with pro-freedom, anti-India slogans

Srinagar, August 08 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the students of Kashmir University (KU) staged a pro-freedom demonstration during the visit of Governor, NN Vohra, to the campus, today.

The students assembled outside the Institute of Kashmir Studies where NN Vohra was chairing an official function.

The students while staged a pro-freedom rally against the Governor’s visit to the campus. They were holding banners and placards bearing pro-freedom slogans. The campus reverberates with slogans like “We want freedom”, “Go India go back”, “We stand by resistance leadership” on the occasion. The slogans were also raised in favour of resistance leadership.

As the Governor left the University campus, the protesting students dispersed peacefully.
