Srinagar, September 15 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, courts across Kashmir Valley remained deserted for the second successive day, today, due to a strike called by High Court Bar Association against its President, Mian Abdul Qayoom, once again being summoned by India’s National Investigation Agency (NIA) in connection with false charges leveled against him.

Mian Abdul Qayoom appeared before the NIA at its headquarters in New Delhi, yesterday. The NIA had summoned him again, today.

“We have unanimously decided to continue the strike for the second day today against the harassment and mental torture of Advocate Qayoom for no reason,” a member of HCBA told mediamen in Srinagar.
