Srinagar, September 16 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front-R (JKLF-R) has expressed concern over the plight of Kashmiri political detainees languishing in different jails of India and the occupied territory.

The JKLF-R Chief Patron, Barrister Abdul Majeed Tramboo, in a statement issued in Srinagar condemned the jail authorities for not allowing the family members of illegally detained party Chairman, Farooq Ahmad Dar, to meet him in New Delhi’s Tihar Jail.

He said, “No medical facilities are provided to Kashmiri detainees lodged in Tihar jail. All political detainees languishing in the jails outside the Kashmir Valley are facing immense hardships and their families are not allowed to meet them.”
