Srinagar, September 23 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of Hurriyat forum, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has welcomed the statement of Pakistan Prime Minister, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, at the UNGA wherein he raised Indian atrocities in the occupied territory and called for peaceful and early settlement the Kashmir dispute.

Mirwaiz Umar Farooq in a statement issued in Srinagar said, Pakistan has always raised the Kashmir dispute at international forums and advocated its settlement in accordance with the Kashmiris’ will and aspirations. He said the people of Kashmir deeply appreciate the diplomatic and moral support extended by Pakistan to their just cause. »

Srinagar, September 23 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the puppet authorities have booked a 37-year-old man from Islamabad town under draconian law, Public Safety Act by the authorities.

The family members of Gowhar Ahmad of Sarnal Bala locality of old town and a sales-cum-marketing manager by profession said that he was summoned by Indian police to Sadder Police Station, Islamabad, a few days back. They said that later he was booked under the PSA and was shifted to Kathua Jail in Jammu. »

Srinagar, September 23 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, a Kupwara youth who was picked up by Indian army almost a month ago and subjected to custodial disappearance, still remains missing.

Manzoor Ahmad Khan was taken into custody by Indian troops from Kakarpati village of Kupwara district on August 31. Manzoor’s relative, Nasrullah Khan, who accompanied him at the time, was severely beaten up and later admitted to the Institute of Medical Sciences, Soura, for kidney failure. »

Srinagar, September 23 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference has said that continued house arrest is taking a heavy toll on the health of its Chairman, Syed Ali Gilani.

Syed Ali Gilani, who continues to be under house detention for a long time now, was once again barred from offering the congregational Friday prayers.
