India using killings, rape as weapon of war

Srinagar, September 24 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism killed three Kashmiri youth and injured three civilians in Uri area of Baramulla district, today.

The three youth were killed and three civilians including a woman, Sakeena, were injured during a cordon and search operation in Kalghi area of the district. An Indian army official claimed that during a clash in the same area, an Indian soldier, Hawaldar Chandra Bhan was injured. The operation was going on till last reports came in.

In another incident, three personnel of Indian Central Reserve Police Force including an officer were injured in a grenade attack on a CRPF vehicle in Sopore.

Indian army and police launched a joint cordon-and-search-operation in Awantipora area of Pulwama district. »

Srinagar, September 24 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, a delegation of led by Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League, Chairman, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza, today, visited the family of Pinky Kour, killed in a grenade blast at Bus Stand Tral, to offer condolences and solidarity with the bereaved family.

The other members of delegation included Nisar Ahmad Rather, Shijaul Islam, Zahoor Ahmad Waza, Aijaz Ahmad and many others.

Waza told the family that the entire Kashmir stood with the family in this time of grief and asked them to be patient in these testing times. »

New York, September 24 (KMS): Hundreds of Kashmiri Americans held a huge rally in front of the United Nations during the speech of the Indian delegate at the General Assembly.

Raising slogans of “India: Honor UN Pledges”, “Freedom for all, Freedom for Kashmir” Indian Forces: Out of Kashmir” “Time to Resolve Kashmir Dispute Now” “Kashmir: The Nuclear Flashpoint” “No Justice, No Peace”, the demonstrators demanded of the United Nations to facilitate the assured right of self-determination to the people of Kashmir. »

Srinagar, September 24 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, four personnel of Central Reserve Police Force including an officer were injured in a grenade blast in Sopore area of Baramulla district, today.

Some unknown attackers hurled a grenade in a CRPF vehicle near the branch of Central Bank of India in Sopore. A Special Police Officer and three CRPF personnel were injured in the attack.

The injured were shifted to Sub-District Hospital, Sopore, for treatment.

Srinagar, September 24 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference has said it is not against dialogue but result-oriented talks are not possible in the present situation.

The leaders during the APHC executive body meeting in Srinagar held detailed deliberations on the ongoing political situation, freedom movement and various organizational matters. It said APHC has always been seeking meaningful talks for the resolution of the Kashmir dispute. »

Srinagar, September 24 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyat forum led by Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has expressed concern over the escalation of tension between India and Pakistan and called upon the leadership of the nuclear countries to take concrete steps for settlement of all issues including the Kashmir dispute.

The Hurriyat forum spokesperson in a statement issued in Srinagar termed the situation at the borders as serious and stated the basic reason for tension between the two countries is lingering Kashmir dispute. »

Srinagar, September 24 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, transporters and trade bodies have called for complete shutdown tomorrow (Monday) against the summoning of Kashmir Traders and Manufacturers Association (KTMF) President, Muhammad Yasin Khan, by India’s National Investigation Agency (NIA).

Addressing a press conference in Srinagar, representatives of KTMF, Kashmir Economic Alliance and transporters called for complete shutdown to protest against the NIA notice. »

London, September 24 (KMS): The International Media Conference (IMC) was held under the auspices of International Commission for Human Rights (ICHR) and South Asia Centre for Peace and Human Rights (SACFPHR) in London.

The title of the conference was – “Exposure of Conflict Areas of the World with Particular Reference to Kashmir”. The conference coincided with the International Day for Peace, the United Nations General Assembly session at New York and the 36th Session of the United Nations Human Rights Council in Geneva. »
