Shabbir Ahmad Shah was arrested from Srinagar by the Indian agency Enforcement Directorate on July 26, a day after several Hurriyat leaders were taken into custody by the Indian National Investigating Agency in a false case. »

Youth laid to rest amid pro-freedom slogans
Srinagar, September 27 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, hundreds of students of Kashmir University and Islamic University of Science and Technology continued their protests on the second consecutive day, today, against the summoning of a varsity scholar, Aala Fazli by the Indian National Investigation Agency to New Delhi.

The students from various departments boycotted class work, assembled outside their departments and took out protest rallies in Srinagar and Awantipora. The students raised slogans like “Go India Go Back” and “We Want Freedom.” They carried banners and placards, demanding an immediate end to the harassment of teaching staff. In view of student protests, the authorities closed MP Higher Secondary School, SP Higher Secondary School, Amar Singh College and Islamia College in Srinagar. »
