APHC-AJK stages protest demon before UN office in Islamabad » Kashmir Media Service

Islamabad, September 28 (KMS): The All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) Chapter staged a protest demonstration before the United Nations office, today.

The speakers on the occasion condemned the continued provocative shelling on the Line of Control (LoC) by Indian troops. They added that the troops were continuously violating the ceasefire line.

The APHC leader shouted slogans against Indian occupation of Kashmir and continued human rights violations by Indian troops.

They urged world body to stop gross human rights violations committed by Indian troops in occupied Kashmir. They also denounced the illegal detention and house detention of Hurriyat leaders in occupied Kashmir and demanded their immediate unconditional release. The Hurriyat leaders also termed their detention as frustration of the authorities.

They said the only solution of Kashmir lies in granting the right to self-determination to the people of Kashmir. The leaders demanded withdrawal of Indian troops from Kashmir, repeal of black laws and release of all illegally detained Hurriyet leaders and activists languishing in different jails and interrogation centers of Kashmir and India.
