Hurriyat leaders express solidarity martyred Najar’s family » Kashmir Media Service

Srinagar, September 30 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, a delegation comprising Hurriyat leaders, Shabbir Ahmed Dar, Muhammad Ahsan Untoo and Imtiyaz Ahmed Reshi, visited Sopore, today, to express solidarity with the bereaved family of a martyred youth, Abdul Qayoom Najar.

Abdul Qayoom Najar was martyred by Indian troops during a siege and search operation in Uri area of Baramulla district on Tuesday.

Speaking at a prayer session on the occasion, Shabbir Ahmed Dar said that the Kashmiri people were rendering unparalleled sacrifices in their ongoing struggle for securing their right to self-determination. He said that the conviction and courage shown by these great sons of soil was exemplary and would serve as a guiding force for pro-freedom leaders and activists.

India must now understand that the Kashmiri people had made complete freedom from Indian yoke their mission and were ready to offer all kinds of sacrifices to achieve their goal.

Hurriyat leaders paid glowing tribute to martyr Abdul Qayoom Najar and said that the sacrifices rendered by the Kashmiri youth would not be allowed to go waste. They said that India had turned occupied Kashmir into a military aggression where its forces’ personnel were continuing the worst kind of state terrorism to suppress the Kashmiris’ just liberation struggle.

A delegation of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front comprising party President for Bandipora District, Syed Nisar Jeelani, and district Baramulla functionaries Molvi Reyaz, Khizar Muhammad Dhobi and Javed Ahmad Dar also visited Sopore and expressed solidarity with the bereaved family of Abdul Qayoom Najar.

Meanwhile, the JKLF leaders including Sheikh Abdul Rasheed, Muhammad Jamal, Muhammad Afzal Sheikh, Muhammad Hanif and Imtiyaz Ahmad addressing a gathering at Basant Bagh in Srinagar paid rich tributes to Imam Husain (RA) and other martyrs of Karbala. They said, the battle of Karbala teaches us freedom, humanity bravery and courage.
