Srinagar, October 01 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the puppet authorities imposed strict restrictions in Srinagar, today, to prevent people from taking out Muharram processions.

The authorities deployed Indian troops and police and paramilitary personnel in full riot gear across the city, particularly in the areas falling under the jurisdiction of Maisuma, Kralkhud, Kothibagh, Ram MunshiBagh Batamaloo, Sherghari, Karan Nagar, Shaheed Gunj, Khanyar, Rainawari, Mharaj Gunj, Nowhatta and Safakada, to stop the Muharram processions.
