An official said that gunmen opened fire on Ghulam Rasool Ganaie member of ruling party and ex-sarpench at his shop in Nambal village in Mattan area of the district. »

PDP furthering anti-Kashmir agenda of BJP, RSS

Srinagar, October 03 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops, in their fresh act of state terrorism, martyred eight Kashmiri youth in Srinagar, Kupwara and Baramulla districts, since yesterday.

The troops killed three youth during a siege and search operation in Humhama area of Srinagar, today. Five youth were killed in Tangdhar and Uri areas of Kupwara and Baramulla districts. »

Srinagar, October 03 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Syed Ali Gilani has said that pro-India People’s Democratic Party (PDP) is serving as a pawn to facilitate fascist agenda of rightwing Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) in Jammu and Kashmir.

Syed Ali Gilani in a statement issued in Srinagar said that people of Jammu and Kashmir had no doubt about the collusion between BJP and RSS, and PDP’s role in facilitating and promoting their fascist designs on Kashmir. »

Asks Indian army deployed in IOK to go back to barracks

Hyderabad, October 03 (KMS): Bharatiya Janata Party leader and former Indian External Affairs Minister, Yashwant Sinha saying that Kashmir is a political issue has asked for its settlement through dialogue with Pakistan and Kashmiri people. He also advised Indian army deployed in occupied Kashmir to return to their barracks.

Delivering a lecture on ‘Kashmir-Now and Way Ahead’ at an event in Hyderabad, the capital of Indian state of Telangana, Sinha said Kashmir is a political problem and the Kashmiri people want the dialogue process to begin as was promised to them. He asked for urgent talks to end bloodshed in the territory. »

Srinagar, October 03 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Muslim League (JKML) has expressed deep concern over the deteriorating health of illegally detained party Chairman, Masarrat Aalam Butt, at Kot Bhalwal Jail in Jammu.

The JKML in a statement issued in Srinagar said that Masarrat Aalam Butt was suffering from several ailments and needed medical check-up on weekly basis as per doctors’ advice. It said that since his shifting to Jammu Jail, the health of Masarrat Aalam Butt had further deteriorated due to non-provision of medical care. »

JKPM Chairman, Mir Shahid Saleem, addressing party workers in Rajouri area of Jammu region condemned the statements of Indian leaders regarding abolition of the Article 35-A of the Indian Constitution that bars outsiders to rights to purchase property in Jammu and Kashmir. »

Srinagar, October 03 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops, in their fresh act of state terrorism, martyred four more Kashmiri youth in two Srinagar and Kupwara districts.

The troops killed two youth during a siege and search operation in Humhama on the outskirts of Srinagar, today.

Earlier, three personnel of Indian Border Security Force were injured after unidentified gunmen entered the camp of 182 battalion of BSF near the Srinagar Airport outside the Air force station at Gogo in Humhama in the wee hours, today. Intermittent firing between the gunmen and the troops was going on till reports last came in. Indian forces’ personnel have sealed all the routes leading to the airport while flights have been suspended. »
