Srinagar, October 06 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) has called for a march towards Tourist Reception Centre (TRC) in Srinagar on October 14, 2017 to protest against incessant incidents of braid-chopping and attempts at altering and changing history, culture, heritage and Muslim majority status of Jammu and Kashmir by authorities in New Delhi.

The JRL comprising Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik in a statement issued in Srinagar asked the people to massively participate in the march. »

Srinagar, October 06 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Acting Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Muslim League (JKML), Muhammad Yousuf Mir has paid tributes to the steadfastness of the illegally detained Hurriyat leaders and activists languishing in different jails saying that their sacrifices are a great asset for the ongoing freedom movement.

Muhammad Yousuf Mir in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the sacrifices of political detainees including Masarrat Aalam Butt, Aasiya Andrabi, Dr Muhammad Qasim Fakhtoo, Dr Shafi Shariati, Ghulam Qadir Butt, Fehmeeda Sofi, Muhammad Rafique Ganai, Abdul Ahmad Parra, Asadullah Parray, Hakeem Showkat and Muhammad Ramzan Khan would not be allowed to go waste. »

Srinagar, October 06 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Dukhtaran-e-Millat has lauded the Kashmir High Court Bar Association and its President, Mian Abdul Qayoom, for adopting a bold approach by challenging and questioning the Jammu and Kashmir’s so-called accession with India in the Indian Supreme Court.

The DeM General Secretary, Nahida Nasreen in a statement issued in Srinagar said that despite being intimidated and threatened by the Indian government and its agencies, Mian Abdul Qayoom’s stance against the so-called accession was worth appreciation. »
