Srinagar, October 07 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the students of Women’s College Maulana Azad Road, Srinagar, held a protest, today, against the increasing incidents of braid-chopping in the territory.

The protesting students raised slogans inside the college premises against the continued incidents and demanded arrest of the culprits.

They were raising slogans against the braid-cutting incidents and asked the authorities to nab the culprits behind these criminal acts.

Braids of several young girls and women in many parts of the Valley have been mysteriously found chopped during the past month. These girls and women have told their families and police that unknown persons cut their hair after knocking them unconscious with some spray.

The people say that agents of Indian secret agencies were behind such incidents to create a sense of insecurity and fear-psychosis among the womenfolk.
