Srinagar, October 13 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, residents of Devos Khaipora area of Budgam district have said that Indian Army personnel ransacked their houses and thrashed the inmates without any reason.

The residents told media that army men from a nearby camp barged into their locality and smashed window panes and thrashed the inmates.

“Late Thursday night there were rumors that braid-choppers are roaming in our area. Announcements were made on public address system asking people to come out of their homes. As we moved out to chase the unknown men, some of the youth clashed with army troops present outside the village,” said a resident, adding that the army men fled after spotting them.

“They (army) returned late at night and ransacked our houses,” he added.
