Srinagar, October 14 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, a policeman was killed and two others injured in an attack by unknown gunmen on motorcade of a member of so-called assembly Abdul Majid Padder in Kulgam district on Saturday.

An official said in Srinagar that the attackers opened fire on two police vehicles at Nandimarg crossing in Damhal Hanjipora in the district. Both the vehicles skidded off the road, he said, adding that a policeman was killed and two others injured.

Abdul Majid Padder however escaped unhurt in the attack. Soon after the attack, Indian forces rushed to the spot and launched massive search operation.
