Srinagar, October 16 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, thirty years old, Afroza Begum, was in the kitchen of her around five kilometers from Sopore town when some braid choppers barged into her house and cut her hair.

“I was in the kitchen when someone held my hair from behind and I lost consciousness. After gaining back consciousness, I found people surround me and my hair had been cut,” Begum said. She was shifted to sub-district hospital Sopore for treatment, and doctors found no affliction of psychological disturbance. »

Washington, October 16 (KMS): Dr. Ghulam Nabi Fai, Secretary General, World Kashmir Awareness Forum, has said that Indian forces are routinely committing war crimes in occupied Kashmir with impunity under emergency laws.

Dr Fai in a statement issued in Washington said, “The life for Kashmiris has oscillated between grisly and gruesome. Human rights violations are frightful: extrajudicial killings, torture, rape, abductions, arson, and arbitrary detentions. Since 1989, more than 100,000 Kashmiris have been killed.” »
