Srinagar, October 16 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, former sarpanch and a pro-India Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) worker was killed after unknown attackers fired upon him in Shopian district, today.

Reports said that gunmen opened fire on Muhammad Ramzan Sheikh near his residence at Homun, Nagbal around 8:05 pm.

He was shifted to nearby Hospital where doctors declared him brought dead on arrival.

After the incident, Indian troops have cordoned off the whole area to nab the attackers.
