Srinagar, October 19 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) on Thursday staged a protest in Srinagar against authorities’ failure to stop braid-cutting incidents.

Scores of workers of various pro-freedom organisations took part in the protest staged at Abi Guzar lane near the Lal Chowk.

The protesters were holding placards with messages urging an end to braid-cutting attacks. “Stop braid-chopping”, “Attacks on dignity of daughter not acceptable” and “Attacks on Kashmiri women and braid chopping is a ploy to intimidate Kashmiris” were some of messages written on placards.
