‘Such reports aimed at defaming the Hizb leadership’

Srinagar, October 31 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Hizbul Mujahideen has refuted the rumors being circulated by some sections of Indian media about assassination plot against Sajjad Lone calling them fake assumptions.

A spokesman of HM in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the reports citing Indian intelligence agencies were false and based on assumptions and were intended to defame the Hizb leadership and a conspiracy to foment a civil war in the Valley.

“Hizb denies and condemns in strong words such fictional stories. Our disagreement with persons is based on principles and such disagreements as per our code of conduct don’t form the basis for such attempts,” the spokesman said.

He added that harassing and arresting the children of resistance leadership on fake charges were aimed at character assassination and dividing pro-freedom people in occupied Kashmir.
