Jammu, October 30 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, former Jammu and Kashmir interlocutor, Radha Kumar has said the solution to the vexed problem lies in taking up dialogue with all segments.

Radha Kumar in a statement in Srinagar said the dialogue was an all important constituent in the process as the problem had to be dealt and corrected historically which would lead to the settlement of pending issues and help create an environment of conviction and acceptability. »

Srinagar, October 30 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza along with a delegation visited Seer Hamdan area of Islamabad district to express condolence with a victim in the area.

Berlin, October 30 (KMS): Dr Ghulam Nabi Fai, the Secretary General of World Kashmir Awareness Forum, has said that no settlement of the Kashmir dispute will be durable unless it is based on the principles of self-determination and no settlement will be acceptable to the Kashmiri people unless tripartite talks are initiated among Pakistan, India and the genuine Kashmiri leadership.

Dr Ghulam Nabi Fai who was in Berlin to participate in the ‘Million Man March’ announced by former AJK Prime Minister, Barrister Sultan Mehmood Choudhary, said October 27, 1947 is forever scarred in the collective minds of the Kashmiri people as on this day they became occupied. He reminded of the Ceasefire Line which not only divides the land but the families of Kashmiris as well. »

Toronto, October 30 (KMS): Like Kashmiris and their friends around the world, the Canadians too observed Kashmir Black Day in Toronto, Canada.

The Canadians from all walks of life that included members of the Kashmiri community as well as others at a conference observed Kashmir Black Day.

Srinagar, October 30 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the President of Muslim Deeni Mahaz (MDM), Muhammad Qasim Fakhtoo has said that Muslims and Dalits are being persecuted in India ever since Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS) came into power in India.

Muhammad Qasim Fakhtoo, who is in jail, in a statement issued in Srinagar said, Muslims are living in a constant fear and the Indian hyper-nationalism has overwhelmed the country’s politics, economy, society, education and media. “But this is only one aspect of this scenario. This has proved it again that no country in the world can truly be secular even if its constitution is secular,” he said. »

Farida Behenji in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the Indian forces had broken all the records of human rights violations in the territory. She said that actually India had declared a war against the people of Kashmir.
