Demo in Srinagar against thrashing of detainees

Srinagar, November 30 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops, in their fresh acts of state terrorism, martyred five Kashmiri youth and injured several others in Budgam and Sopore areas, today.

Bodies of four youth were recovered from the debris of a residential house destroyed by the troops during a siege and search operation at Futlipora in Pakherpora area of Budgam. Over a dozen people including a minor boy, Sameer Bashir Mir, were injured after Indian forces’ personnel fired bullets, pellets and teargas shells on anti-India demonstrations in the area. The troops killed another youth during a crackdown operation at Sagipora in Sopore town. Earlier, an Indian soldier was injured in an attack in the same area. The puppet authorities snapped mobile Internet services in Budgam and Pulwama districts to prevent demonstrations against the killings. »

Srinagar, November 30 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) comprising Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik staged a sit-in protest in Nowhatta area of Srinagar, today, against attacks on Kashmiri prisoners in Delhi’s Tihar jail and Kathua jail of Jammu.

Scores of Hurriyat leader and activists staged a protest outside Jamia Masjid in Srinagar against the attacks. »

Srinagar, November 30 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) Chairman, Syed Ali Gilani and other Hurriyat leaders have paid tributes to five Kashmiri youth martyred by Indian troops in Budgam and Sopore areas, today.

Syed Ali Gilani in a statement issued in Srinagar paying homage to the martyrs said that the sacrifices of Kashmiri people would not go waste. »

Srinagar, November 30 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, a delegation of Tehreek-e-Mazahamat led by its Chairman, Bilal Siddiqi, visited SMSH Hospital in Srinagar to enquire about the health of 11th class student, Zahid Ahmed Mir.

Zahid Ahmed Mir was critically injured when Indian troops targeted him with pellet gun in Nawa Kadal area of Srinagar while he was returning from his examination on November 24. »

Islamabad, November 30 (KMS): The mother of Kashmir Media Service’s Editor, Muhammad Arshad Khan passed away in Bagh district of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, today. She was 76.

The deceased was suffering from various ailments for quite some time and breathed her last at her residence in Kaffal Garh area of the district. She was laid to rest in her native area.

Srinagar, November 30 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Joint Resistance Leadership comprising Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik has said that India is not serious and sincere to resolve the Kashmir dispute.

Speaking at a seminar at Syed Ali Gilani’s Hyderpora residence in Srinagar the resistance leaders said that the steps taken by the government of India were not sincere as arrests, killings and oppression continued in the territory at the same time when offer of talks was being made. They also made reference to recent incidents in the Tihar and Kathua jails and lambasted the treatment meted out there to the Kashmiri prisoners. »

Srinagar, November 30 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the puppet authorities suspended the mobile Internet service after Indian troops launched a crackdown operation in Budgam district, today.

The mobile internet service was snapped to prevent people from holding demonstrations against the operation and sharing information about the developing situation. »
