Srinagar, November 06 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, an Indian army soldier was killed in an attack while a civilian was injured in massive clashes in Pulwama district, this evening.

An army soldier Sham Sundar of 44 RR sustained serious bullet injuries in an attack at Aglar Kandi village of the district, he was referred to army hospital in Srinagar where he succumbed, police said. »

Srinagar, November 06 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Muslim Khawateen Markaz headed by Yasmeen Raja held a protest demonstration on the arrival of India-appointed interlocutor on Kashmir, Dinsehwar Sharma in the Valley, today.

The protest was held at Press Colony in Srinagar. The demonstrators termed the interlocutor’s visit to Kashmir as a futile exercise and playing with the emotions and sentiments of the Kashmiri people. »

Islamabad, November 06 (KMS): The Azad Jammu and Kashmir chapter of the All Parties Hurriyet Conference (AJK-APHC) held a function in Islamabad, today, with Convener Ghulam Mohammad Safi in the chair to remember the Jammu Martyrs of November 1947.

Paying glowing tributes to the martyrs, the speakers said that in the first week of November in 1947, the Indian forces and Hindu hooligans had massacred the Jammu Muslims under a preplanned conspiracy. They said that the Muslims were killed for their love with Pakistan, adding that the fascist forces started a killing spree in 1947 which was still going on. »

APHC rejects Indian talks offer

Srinagar, November 06 (KMS): Kashmiris on both sides of the Line of Control observed Jammu Martyrs’ Day, today, to reaffirm their resolve to continue the liberation struggle till the achievement of Kashmiris’ inalienable right to self-determination.

Hundreds of thousands of Kashmiris were killed in the first week of November in 1947 by the forces of Maharaja Hari Singh, Indian army and Hindu hooligans in different parts of Jammu region while they were migrating to Pakistan.

A seminar was organized by the All Parties Hurriyat Conference in Srinagar, today, to pay tributes to Jammu martyrs. The function was addressed among others by Ghulam Nabi Sumjhi, Zamrooda Habib, Ghulam Ahmad Gulzar, Muhammad Yousuf Naqash, Hakeem Abdur Rasheed, Ghulam Muhammad Nagu, Muahammad Saleem Zargar, Imtiaz Ahmad Shah, Muhammad Yasin Atai, Syed Muhammad Shafi, Syed Bashir Ahmad Andrabi and Maulvi Bashir Ahmad. The speakers said that the Jammu massacre in 1947 was the worst example of genocide intended to change the demographic composition of the territory. »

Srinagar, November 06 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference has said that no section of resistance movement will meet interlocutor Dineshwar Sharma or participate in futile exercise of talks.

A statement issued by APHC in Srinagar said that it would not disappoint Kashmiri people. India-appointed interlocutor, Dineshwar Sharma is arriving in Srinagar, today. The statement said that the authorities had failed to break the resolve of iron man, Syed Ali Gilani. »

Srinagar, November 06 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, High Court Bar Association has described the notice to the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front, Mohammad Yasin Malik and two others by the Enforcement Directorate in a 17-year-old case as contrary to law and aimed at teasing, torturing and humiliating pro-freedom Kashmiri leadership.

The Bar Association in a statement issued in Srinagar said the notice has been issued in a case pending trial in a court at Jammu, in which the court has granted bail to Malik, after being prima facie satisfied that he is not involved any crime. »

Srinagar, November 06 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza, has said that Kashmir’s freedom struggle is indigenous in nature, which is aimed at securing the Kashmiris’ right to self-determination.

Mukhtar Ahmad Waza while addressing a gathering in Shopian said that Jammu and Kashmir was an internationally-recognized dispute under the United Nations’ resolutions. He said that first Indian Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru, had also pledged to the Kashmiris to grant them their right to self-determination to decide their political future. »
