Srinagar, November 09 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Mass Movement (JKMM), rejecting the recent talks offer by India, has said that the Kashmiris are not against the meaningful dialogue but the aim of these talks by New Delhi is to kill time.

The JKMM Chairman, Molvi Bashir Irfani in a statement issued in Srinagar said that India in past too appointed interlocutors and formed working groups, however, such exercises proved to be futile as they yielded no results regarding the settlement of the Kashmir dispute. He said that the history was witness that India had never initiated dialogue process with seriousness and sincerity.

The JKMM leader said that Kashmir dispute could be settled through tripartite dialogue among India, Pakistan and the true leadership of Kashmiri people in line with the relevant UN resolutions. He said that the appointment of interlocutor, Dineshwar Sharma, by India was aimed at befooling the people of Kashmir and the initiative was mere an eyewash.
