Farooq Abdullah’s statement rejected

Srinagar, November 12 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference has said that India is carrying out brutal oppression against the Kashmiri people to suppress their struggle for freedom.

An APHC spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the appointment of interlocutor was just a ploy on the part of New Delhi to mislead the international community. The spokesman said that despite exhausting all its military might, India had failed to break the resolve of Kashmiri people for continuing the struggle to achieve their right to self-determination.

The Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front Chairman, Muhammad Yasin Malik in a statement issued in Srinagar also reiterated that the Kashmiris would continue their resistance against illegal occupation of Jammu and Kashmir by India. Yasin Malik while rejecting the statement of former puppet Chief Minister, Farooq Abdullah said that the Kashmiris had not sacrificed thousands of lives for absurd and ridiculous autonomy, but complete freedom from India. »

Srinagar, November 12 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the High Court Bar Association (HCBA) has condemned the re-arrest of senior APHC leader, Masarrat Aalam Butt soon after he was released from Kote Bhalwal Jail in Jammu.

The Bar Association in a statement issued in Srinagar said, “It is condemnable the re-arrest of Masarrat Aalam Butt after his 35th order of detention was quashed, recently, by the High Court, which had directed that he be released forthwith.” The Bar termed the move as ruthless, barbaric and a glaring and perpetual violation of his human rights. It pleaded the High Court to take suo-motto notice of the matter, in pursuance of the judgment of the Indian Supreme Court that asks for treating the prisoners not as objects but as human beings. »

Srinagar, November 12 (KMS): India has decided to equip its troops deployed on borders of Pakistan and China with 600 drone planes.

The drone planes, to be purchased with estimated cost of Rs 9.5 billion, would be given to troops deployed on forwards posts.

The pilotless planes would also be handed over to National Rifles deployed to counter anti-terrorist operation.

Srinagar, November 12 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Mohammad Iqbal Wani, a brilliant computer scientist, was killed by police in a fake encounter at Goregoan in Mumbai in 2003.

The police informed a court that Mohammad Iqbal Wani was not involved in any illegal activities but the authorities failed to protect the life, liberty and property of an innocent civilian. »

Srinagar, November 12 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, a seminar, “Issues to Ummah and their solution” was held today in Islamabad town of South Kashmir.

Religious scholar and the Chairman of Ummat-e-Islami, Qazi Ahmad Yasir chaired the seminar while various scholars including Professor Hameed Nayeemi, Engineer Umar Attari, Dr Nisar Ahmed Mubarki and Irshad Ahmed Attari attended it. »
