Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik had reached at the head office of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front to lead a protest march and a sit-in protest at Lal Chowk against Indian atrocities on the people and the plight of Kashmiri detainees in jails. »

Mehbooba ‘greeted’ with pro-freedom slogans
Srinagar, November 15 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, fire broke out in the shrine of Hazrat Syed Ali Hamdani (RA) in Srinagar, today.

Fire was noticed in the upper storey of the wooden made shrine. However, fire tenders were rushed from different parts of the city.

Locals also joined the efforts to control the flames. Official said that the exact damage to the shrine was being ascertained. »

Srinagar, November 15 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) comprising Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik, has called for complete shutdown on November 27 against the ill-treatment meted out to the illegally detained Kashmiris languishing in different jails of the territory and India.

Call for the shutdown was giving by Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik while addressing a joint press conference in Aabi Guzar area of Srinagar, today, ahead of protest march up to Lal Chowk and a sit-in. They asked the people to observe November 27 as black day. »

Srinagar, November 15 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Syed Ali Gilani has said that the Kashmiris will continue their struggle till they are given their basic right to self-determination.

In his telephonic address ahead of joint resistance leadership protest in Srinagar, today, Syed Ali Gilani said, “Kashmir Valley particularly south Kashmir districts are facing worst onslaught and oppression at the hands of Indian forces.” »

New Delhi, November 15 (KMS): A Delhi court, today, framed charges against illegally detained senior APHC leader, Shabbir Ahmad Shah.

The court also framed charges against Muhammad Aslam Wani, who too is undergoing detention in Delhi.

Shabbir Shah was arrested by India’s Enforcement Directorate (ED) in a decade-old fake money laundering case on July 25 this year. He remained in the custody of ED for many days. Later, a court had sent him to Delhi’s Tihar Jail on judicial remand.

Mirwaiz grills India over lynching of Muslim in Rajasthan

Srinagar, November 15 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of Hurriyat forum, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, has strongly condemned the lynching of an innocent Muslim by Hindu fanatics in Indian state of Rajasthan, saying that Muslims across India are being targeted in a well-planned manner.

Mirwaiz Umar Farooq in a statement issued in Srinagar urged the world human rights organizations to take a strong note of this bloodshed of Muslims by the Hindu extremists under the garb of cow protection. He emphasized that Indian leadership was duty-bound to ensure the safety and security of Muslims in the country. »

Srinagar, November 15 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference asking the pro-India politicians to shun their fraudulent and deceitful politics has said that the Kashmiri people while pursuing their rightful cause have presented unprecedented sacrifices and are fully aware about all those stooges helping the forced occupation.

Srinagar, November 15 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir leaders have said that India has converted Jammu and Kashmir into a killing field.

Tehreek-e-Hurriyat in a statement issued in Srinagar said that a party delegation led by Bashir Ahmad Qureshi and Shah Wali Muhammad participated in the funerals of two martyred youth in Sopore and Pattan areas of Baramulla district. The youth, Ashiq Hussain Butt and Tayyeb Majeed Mir were killed by Indian troops during a fake encounter in Handwara area of Kupwara district on Monday. »
