Islamabad, November 16 (KMS): Foreign Office spokesman, Dr Muhammad Faisal, has strongly condemned the Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir and called upon the world human rights defenders to stand up for people of the occupied territory.

Dr Muhammad Faisal in his weekly briefing, today, said Indian forces in the past week killed three Kashmiri youth including a B.Tech student, Muzamil Ahmad, Tayyib Majeed Mir and 18-year-old Ashiq Ahmed Butt in Kulgam and Handwara areas during violent, armed and illegal operations and fake encounters.

He said that mass blinding of innocent and defenseless Kashmiris by Indian forces in occupied Kashmir continued unabated depriving hundreds of people including young women and children of eyesight.

Dr Muhammad Faisal said that the illegal detention of Hurriyat leaders including Shabbir Ahmad Shah, Masarrat Aalam Butt, Aasiya Andrabi, Fehmeeda Sofi and over 800 innocent Kashmiris in different jails of India and occupied Kashmir was highly condemnable.

He deplored that Indian occupation forces in Pulwama, Shopian, Kulgam, Kupwara and Bandipore districts continued to terrorize innocent people by house raids during night time.
