Srinagar, November 17 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyat leaders, Shabbir Ahmad Dar, Imtiyaz Ahmad Reshi, Devinder Singh, Shakeel-ur-Rehman and Molvi Javaid, today, visited Palhalan and paid glowing tribute to a youth, Ashiq Ahmad, who was recently martyred by Indian troops.

Addressing a gathering on the occasion, the leaders said that the blood of Kashmiri martyrs would not be allowed to go waste and their mission would be accomplished at all costs. They said that India could no longer hold Kashmir under its forced occupation.

Meanwhile, the Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement (JKSM) leaders in their speeches during the mass contact programme said that the people of Kashmir would continue their struggle till it reached its logical conclusion. The leaders, Maulana Mudasir, Adnan Salfi, Imtiyaz Ahmed and Maulana Rashid addressing the gatherings in Pulwama, Sopore, Palhallan and Tangmarg paid glowing tributes to the martyrs and said that their sacrifices would not go waste.

Hurriyat leader and the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League (JKPL), Mukhtar Ahmad Waza addressing people at Bidder in Kokernag said that Kashmir dispute should be resolved peacefully according to the aspirations of Kashmiri people and through tripartite dialogue.

Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir leaders, Muhammad Rafique Awaisee, Merajuddin Rabbani and Mudasir Nadvi addressing at Chatargal, Manigam and Janar in Kangan condemned the fresh arrest spree, frisking and raids on the houses of Hurriyat leaders by the Indian forces.

The Patron of Jammu and Kashmir Mass Movement (JKMM), Farida Bahenji, in her statement in Srinagar condemned the slapping of another PSA on illegally detained senior APHC leader, Masarrat Aalam Butt and described it frustration of the authorities. She said that India could not suppress the Kashmiris’ ongoing liberation movement through such cheap tactics and they would take it to its logical conclusion.
