Women protest against killings in Hajin

Srinagar, November 19 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, complete shutdown was observed, today, against the cordon and search operations and subsequent killings by Indian forces across the Kashmir Valley.

All shops and business establishments were closed, while traffic was off the road. Call for the strike was given by the Joint Resistance Leadership comprising Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik. Strict restrictions were imposed in Srinagar to prevent anti-India protests. Train service remained suspended for the second day, today, in the territory. The internet service was also snapped in some parts of the territory. »

Srinagar, November 19 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, a large number of women held pro-freedom protests in Hajin area of Banidpora district, today, against the killing of six youth by Indian troops.

The protesting women raised anti-India and pro-freedom slogans during the protests in Chandergar area where the youth were killed by troops during a cordon and Search operation, last night.

A commando of Indian Air Force was also killed and two Indian soldiers were injured in an attack in the same area. »

Srinagar, November 19 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyat leaders and organizations have paid glowing tributes to the youth, martyred by Indian troops in Zakura and Hajin areas, and martyrs of Aali Kadal, Srinagar.

A delegation of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front participated in the funeral prayers of a martyred youth, Mugees Ahmad Mir, and expressed solidarity with his bereaved family. The team also visited Martyrs’ Graveyard, Eidgah, in Srinagar on the 25th martyrdom anniversary of Aali Kadal martyrs. A blood donation camp will also be held at JKLF office Abiguzar in Srinagar, tomorrow, in memory of these martyrs. »

Srinagar, November 19 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the High Court has issued a notice to India’s Central Bureau of Investigation, calling for its response to a petition, challenging acceptance by a court of a closure report from the India’s probe agency into the infamous 1998 massacre in Sailan village of Poonch district.

A bench of Justice Ramalingam Sudhakar issued notice to CBI and the puppet administration after hearing Advocate Parvaiz Imroz who appeared for the victim families.

The petition claimed that CBI court ignored material evidence and that its decision was arbitrary and findings perverse. “The order has resulted in a serious miscarriage of justice. The CBI court accepted the conclusions of the CBI and failed to appreciate the detailed submissions made by the family members of the victims that clearly indict the forces for the crime and emphasise the need for further investigations that would lead to a charge-sheet and a successful prosecution,” the petition said. »

Srinagar, November 19 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the authorities have placed Anjuman Sharie Shian President, Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi Al-Safvi, under house arrest at his residence in Badgam.

Agha Hassan Moosvi was put under house detention and was not allowed to attend multiple religious conferences organized by Anjuman Sharie Shian across the Kashmir Valley in connection with the birth anniversary of the Prophet (PBUH) and martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Hussain (RA).

A party statement issued in Srinagar said that conferences were organized at Central Imambara Budgam and Hasanabad Srinagar. »

Call for the strike has been given by the Joint Resistance Leadership comprising Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik. The authorities have deployed forces in strength to prevent anti-India protests.

Dozens of youth have been killed in Hajin,Pulwama and Zakura and other areas of the occupied territory by Indian troops over the past few days. »

Killings trigger clashes, internet service snapped

Srinagar, November 19 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops, in their fresh act of state terrorism, martyred six more Kashmiri youth in Bandipore district.

The troops killed the youth during a siege and search operation at Chadergeera in Hajin area of the district, last night. Earlier, a commando of Indian Air Force was killed and two Indian soldiers were injured in an attack in the same area.

A police official said a joint team of Army, police and Central Reserve Police Force laid cordon in Chandergair locality of Hajin and started house-to-house searches. »
