Srinagar, November 19 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyat leaders and organizations have paid glowing tributes to the youth, martyred by Indian troops in Zakura and Hajin areas, and martyrs of Aali Kadal, Srinagar.

A delegation of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front participated in the funeral prayers of a martyred youth, Mugees Ahmad Mir, and expressed solidarity with his bereaved family. The team also visited Martyrs’ Graveyard, Eidgah, in Srinagar on the 25th martyrdom anniversary of Aali Kadal martyrs. A blood donation camp will also be held at JKLF office Abiguzar in Srinagar, tomorrow, in memory of these martyrs.

Indian troops had killed noted liberation leader, Sheikh Abdul Hameed, along with his associates Mushtaq Ahmad Lone, Advocate Jamil Chowdhry, Fayaz Ahmad Sheikh, Mushtaq Ahmad Kotey, Ghulam Ahmad Mir, Manzoor Ahmad Khan, Farooq Ahmad Dar, Ghulam Nabi Butt and Pervez Bullah at Aali Kadal in Srinagar on this day in 1992.

Besides Hurriyet leaders and activists including, a large number of people, relatives and family members of the martyrs participated in Fateha Khawani.

Hurriyat leaders, Shabir Ahmad Dar, Muhammad Ahsan Untoo and Imtiyaz Ahmad Reshi visited parimpora area of Srinagar to pay tributes to martyr Mughees Ahmad. They also eulogized the sacrifices of six martyrs in Hajin.

The Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement, Zafar Akbar Butt and Hurriyat leader, Javed Ahmad Mir in a joint statement in Srinagar also paid rich tributes to the youth, martyred by troops in Hajin, and Ali Kadal martyrs.

The leaders said that Kashmiri youth were laying their precious lives and nourishing freedom mission with their blood.

APHC leaders Zamrooda Habib and Farida Behanji in their separate statements while paying tributes to all Kashmiri martyrs strongly condemned the recent spree of killings in Kashmir.

Tehreek-e-Muzahamat Chairman Bilal Ahmed Sidiqui said that Kashmiri brave hearts were fighting occupation and sacrificing their precious lives for freedom cause. Peoples Political Front Chief, Muhammad Musaddiq Aadil and JKLF-R also paid tributes to the martyrs.
