Srinagar, November 20 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Syed Ali Gilani has said that India cannot suppress the Kashmiris’ freedom movement, which has consumed six hundred thousand lives since 1947 till date.

Syed Ali Gilani in a statement issued in Srinagar, today, said that the so-called accession of Jammu and Kashmir with India had no constitutional, legal, political and moral justification and it was based on a total fraud. He maintained that the people of Kashmir would continue their struggle till the last Indian army man vacated Jammu and Kashmir. Syed Ali Gilani emphasized that India should give up its intransigence and provide the Kashmiri people an opportunity to decide their fate through a plebiscite. »

Srinagar, November 20 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, leaders of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) have said that glorious history written by Shaheed-e-Hurriyat Sheikh Abdul Hameed and martyrs like him, by their sacred blood, is our precious treasure.

The leaders said this during a blood donation camp held in memory of Sheikh Abdul Hamid and other martyrs of Aali Kadal at Abi Guzur in Srinagar, today.

The JKLF leaders said that Kashmiris were indebted to these great martyrs and no one could ever forget their sacrifices. “As custodians of these sacrifices it is our duty to continue the sacred struggle for freedom till the achievement of the cherished goal.” »

Srinagar, November 20 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, residents of Kunzar town in Baramulla district observed a token-strike to protest against pesky power supply and the shortage of drinking water in the area.

A large number of people including businessmen took to Srinagar-Gulmarg road and raised slogans in favour of their demands. The protesters blocked traffic for hour on the highway and later dispersed off peacefully. »

The UN General Assembly on Thursday had unanimously passed a Pakistan-sponsored resolution reaffirming that the universal realization of the right of peoples to self-determination was a fundamental condition for the effective guarantee and observance of human rights. »
