Tral shuts on 2nd successive day to mourn youth’s killing » Kashmir Media Service

Srinagar, November 22 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, complete shutdown is being observed in Tral town and its adjoining areas in Pulwama district on the second consecutive day, today, to mourn the killing of a youth, Aadil Ahmed Chopan, by Indian troops.

Aadil Ahmed Chopan was martyred by the troops during a siege and search operation in Seer area of Tral on Monday.

All shops, business establishments, educational institutions and private offices are closed while transport is off the road in the town and adjacent areas.

Eyewitnesses told media that scores of people from different areas reached at Aadil’s home at Lurow in Tral and offered fateha (prayers) for him. Many religious scholars, pro-freedom leaders and locals thronged the residence of the martyred youth to express sympathy and solidarity with his family.
