Srinagar, November 25 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, three youth from Srinagar have developed a Facebook like social networking site to connect people of Kashmir through it.

KashmirWeb – a social network site – has been developed by Naveed Malik, Usman Tareen and Hanan Muzaffer from Srinagar.

Naveed Malik, one of the founders of this social networking site said that they wanted to create something that was indigenous to Kashmir. “We wanted to create something so that the world shouldn’t only know us by our culture, beauty and tradition but remember us for the technological marvels also,” he said.

Naveed Malik said that though it was impossible to overtake “Facebook” at this time but they wanted to created niche in this part of the world. “Forget big social networking, we wanted to make big here in Kashmir so that we too have a name,” he said.

“Even if we will fail, we will rise again. Success is when your signature turns into autograph,” he said.
