Authorities bury bodies of martyrs silently in Baramulla

Srinagar, December 01 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) comprising Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik has paid rich tributes to the five youth martyred by the Indian troops in Budgam and Sopore areas.

The troops during siege and search operations killed four youth at Futlipora in Pakherpora area of Budgam and one in Sagipora area of Sopore town on Thursday. Several people were injured due to the use of brute force by the troops on peaceful protesters in Futlipora.

The resistance leaders in a joint statement issued in Srinagar paid glorious tributes to the martyred youth and strongly condemned the use of brute force on protestors. They said that it was the collective responsibility of leadership and the people of Kashmir to show steadfastness and take the mission of their martyrs to its logical conclusion.

Other Hurriyat leaders and organizations including Javaid Ahmed Mir, Bilal Siddiqi, Zafar Akbar Butt, Farida Bahenji, Shabbir Ahmed Dar, Muhammad Iqbal Mir, Muhammad Ahsan Untoo, Muhammad Shafi Reshi, Ghulam Nabi War and Democratic Freedom Party in their statements also paid homage to the martyred youth. They said that the sacrifices of the martyrs were the real asset of the ongoing freedom movement and Kashmiris would not allow these sacrifices to go waste.

The High Court Bar Association of occupied Kashmir in a statement in Srinagar also condemned the firing of bullets and pellets on civilians by Indian troops in Futlipora. It also denounced the thrashing of Hurriyat leader, Abdul Samad Inqilabi, in Kathua Jail and also declaring him mentally unfit and for giving him treatment for the said mental disease by the prison authorities.

On the other hand, fearing massive participation of people in the funeral prayers of the martyred youth, the puppet authorities buried bodies of three of them silently at a graveyard in Baramulla district, last night. Local media reported that a few people and policemen buried the youth in Gantamulla area of the district . Earlier, some locals and police men dug graves to bury the martyred youth.
