Srinagar, December 06 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Gujjar Bakarwal students hostel in Pulwama is under occupation of Indian forces’ personnel for the past 27 years.

No rent for the building has been paid for all these years while the students are forced to reside in six rooms of a 90-year-old building with no facilities available.

The two-storey hostel building of Gujjar Bakarwal welfare board meant for the students of the community is under occupation of Indian paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force.

“The CRPF occupied the hostel building outside DC office in 1990,” Secretary Gujjar Bakarwal Welfare Board, Choudhary Mukhtar, said.

“We wrote to the administration several times and the issue was also discussed in board meetings but nothing happened,” he rued.
