Srinagar, December 09 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League (JKPL) has denounced the puppet authorities for placing its Chairman, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza under house arrest.

Srinagar, December 09 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian police have sealed the Hyderpora residence of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference Chairman, Syed Ali Gilani, in Srinagar to prevent holding of a seminar, today.

The Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) comprising Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik, had announced to hold the seminar titled ”Human Rights Violations in Kashmir and Criminal Silence of World Community” in connection with the World Human Rights Day to be observed tomorrow (Sunday). Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Muhammad Yasin Malik and other prominent personalities were scheduled to speak in the seminar. »

Srinagar, December 09 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, people staged forceful demonstrations at Devsar in Kulgam district after the Indian troops launched a cordon and search operation in the area.

Locals told media that the troops launched a cordon and search operation at Astan Mohalla in Devsar. As the troops were laying the siege, scores of people came out and pelted them with stones, they said.

The people said that the troops fired teargas shells to disperse the protesters, who offered stiff resistance. »

Srinagar, December 09 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Dukhtaran-e-Millat (DeM) has said that the US declaration of recognising Jerusalem as the capital of Israel is an utter disregard to the international laws.

The DeM General Secretary, Naheeda Nasreen in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the US President, Donald Trump, like a dictator declared shifting of the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem without consulting world bodies especially the UN. »
