Srinagar, December 22 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyat leaders, Javaid Ahmed Mir and Imtiyaz Ahmed Reshi have said that the Indian forces in the name of so-called siege and search operations are killing the innocent women in the territory.

Javaid Ahmad Mir and Imtiyaz Ahmad Reshi addressing a gathering at Noorbagh rea of Srinagar, today, said that the killing spree indicated that India had started a war against peace-loving people of Kashmir struggling politically for their birthright to self-determination. »

Srinagar, December 22 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of Tehreek-e-Muzahamat, Bilal Ahmed Sidiqui and the Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Chairman, Zafar Akbar Butt have denounced the re-arrest of Dukhtaran-e-Millat Chairperson, Aasiya Andrabi in the court premises.

Bilal Ahmed Sidiqui in a statement issued in Srinagar also condemned the puppet authorities for keeping family of Hurriyat leader, Mushtaq-ul-Islam, in dark about his whereabouts and termed it highly condemnable. »

Hurriyat leaders detained; Jamia Masjid Srinagar sealed

Srinagar, December 22 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the puppet authorities imposed restrictions in Srinagar to prevent people from staging protest demonstrations after Friday prayers, today, against the recent brutal killing of innocent civilians including two women by the Indian troops in the territory.

Call for the protests was given by the Joint Resistance Leadership comprising Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik and was also aimed at condemning the ongoing spree of arbitrary arrests and other brutalities unleashed by the Indian forces against the Kashmiri people.

The puppet authorities deployed Indian troops and police personnel in strength in Srinagar and all other major towns of the territory to stop people from staging the demonstrations. The authorities also sealed Jamia Masjid in Srinagar and disallowed people from offering Juma prayers. Train service between Baramulla town of the Kashmir Valley and Bannihal town in the Jammu region was suspended. »

Qazi Yasir addressing people at historical Jamia Masjid in Islamabad town said the brutal use of pellet gun continues till date even though the international community and human rights groups have criticized it. »

Srinagar, December 22 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the puppet authorities on disallowed Juma prayers at Jamia Masjid in Srinagar, today.

All gates of the Jamia Masjid were locked by the Indian troops while all roads leading to the historic mosque were closed with concertina wires.

The authorities imposed curfew-like restrictions in parts of Srinagar to prevent people from assembling at the mosque and staging demonstrations on the call of the Joint Resistance Leadership comprising Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik. »
