Srinagar, December 28 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyat leaders and organisations continued to pay tributes to martyr Noor Mohammad Tantray, who was killed by Indian troops during a siege and search operation in Pulwama district.

Hurriyat leaders, Shabbir Ahmad Dar, Muhammad Iqbal Mir, Mohammad Khan Sopori, Muhammad Ahsan Untoo, Imtiyaz Ahmad Reshi, Ghulam Nabi War, Billal Ahmad Siddiqui, Mohammad Yaseen Attai Ghulam, the Jammu and Kashmir Mass Movement and the High Court Bar Association in their statements said the mission of martyrs would be carried forward to its logical conclusion, against all odds.

They also condemned the arrest of Irshad Ahmad Khan, the nephew of Ghulam Muhammad Khan Sopori, under black law Public Safety Act. Irshad has been shifted to Kotbhalwal jail in Jammu.

Meanwhile a delegation of Hurriyat leaders including Imtiyaz Ahmad Reshi and Tahoor Sidiqi visited Batamaloo and Soura to enquire health condition of Hurriyat leaders, Mushtaq-ul-Islam and Aasiya Andrabi. On the occasion the leaders discussed latest political situation of Kashmir.
