Hurriyat leaders continue to pay tributes to Tantray

Srinagar, December 29 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyat leaders continued to pay tributes to martyr Noor Muhammad Tantray, who was recently killed by Indian troops during a siege and search operation in Pulwama district.

A delegation of Jammu and Kashmir Muslim League (JKML) comprising Muhammad Akram Najjar, Sajjad Ayubi, Manzoor Ahmed Lalahari, Abdur Rasheed Khan and Ejaz Ahmad Khan visited Tral area of Pulwama and expressed solidarity with the bereaved family.

Muhammad Akram Najjar speaking on the occasion said that the sacrifices of Kashmiri martyrs would not be allowed to go waste and the ongoing freedom movement would be taken to its logical conclusion.

Meanwhile, Hurriyat leader, Javaid Ahmed Mir, in a statement issued in Srinagar also paid glowing tributes to the Kashmiri martyrs and said that their mission would be accomplished at all costs.

Javaid Ahmed Mir, who is under house arrest in Srinagar, said that the unresolved Kashmir dispute was a threat to the peace of the entire South Asian region. He said that the United Nations had passed several resolutions on Kashmir and the international community had recognized it as a disputed territory but had failed to settle it despite the passage of many decades.
