Srinagar, December 23 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Muslim League (JKML) has denounced the re-arrest of party leader, Assadullah Parray, after he was released on the court orders.

The JKML spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said that Assadullah Parray was illegally detained in a fake case. He said that the JKML leader had been languishing in different jails of the territory and was not being provided basic amenities due to which his health was deteriorating with each passing day. »

New Delhi, December 23 (KMS): A Delhi court has extended the judicial custody of Shahid Yousuf, the son of prominent Kashmiri freedom leader Syed Salahuddin, in a fake case registered against him six years ago.

The 42-year-old Shahid Yousuf, a government employee in occupied Kashmir, was arrested by India’s National Investigation Agency (NIA) after summoning him for questioning at its headquarters in New Delhi on October 24, 2017. He was remanded in seven-day NIA custody only last Wednesday. »

Srinagar, December 23 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, a half-blinded youngster in Sopore has not given up hope for life despite multiple surgeries on his eye pierced by pellets months after he was discharged from hospital.

The 21-year-old, Zakir Javaid Mir who was hit by the pellets fired by the Indian forces on September 2, 2016 said he has not received any help from any quarter except assurances and paperwork. »

Have learnt lesson of tolerance, says APHC Chairman

Srinagar, December 23 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Syed Ali Gilani, has completed eight years under house detention.

The APHC spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar strongly condemned the continued house arrest of the ailing leader. He said that no court had ever issued any formal house detention order for Syed Ali Gilani and the rule of law had been thrown to winds by the puppet rulers in occupied Kashmir.

The spokesman said that the Indian police had so far failed to produce any court order or any administrative document in support of APHC Chairman’s illegal house arrest. “What is the justification in turning his residence into a sub-jail?” he asked. »

Srinagar, December 23 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the family of a Kashmiri businessman lodged in New Delhi’s Tihar Jail has said that he is being denied medical care by the jail authorities.

The family of Zahoor Watali in a statement issued in Srinagar said that due to denial of medical facilities to him his health was deteriorating day-by-day.

Watali has been lodged in Tihar Jail following his arrest by India’s National Investigating Agency four months ago in a fake case registered against him. »

Srinagar, December 23 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Syed Ali Gilani, has strongly condemned the re-arrest of Dukhtaran-e-Millat Chairperson, Aasiya Andrabi, by the Indian police.

Syed Ali Gilani in a statement issued in Srinagar said, Aasiya Andrabi is unwell and suffering from many ailments but the puppet rulers claiming to represent a democratic regime have most undemocratically kept her incarcerated only for raising her voice for rights of the oppressed Kashmiris. He also prayed for her speedy recovery. »
