Srinagar, January 04 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyat leaders, Zafar Akbar Butt and Javaid Ahmed Mir during their mass contact programme expressed solidarity with the victims of Indian state terrorism.

Zafar Akbar Butt and Javaid Ahmed Mir visited Pampore, Gulshanager and other areas of the territory and met with pellet victims and families of martyrs and detainees. »

Srinagar, January 04 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, unknown gunmen have killed a son of Hurriyet leader, Muhammad Maqbool Sofi, in Sopore.

Unidentified gunmen shot dead 25-year-old Arif Ahmed Sofi at Herwan Unisoo in outskirts of Sopore on Wednesday evening.

Hurriyat leader, Bashir Ahmed Tota, in a statement issued in Srinagar strongly condemned the killing of Arif Ahmed Sofi. He said that Arif was working in a pharmaceutical company and was helping his family to sustain but time and again he was harassed by the troops of an Indian Army camp in the area due to his father’s affiliation with the ongoing freedom movement. He demanded an impartial probe into the killing to bring the killers to book. »
