Clashes erupt in Pulwama amid shutdown » Kashmir Media Service

Srinagar, January 29 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, clashes erupted in Pulwama district, today, after youth staged a massive protest against the killing of two innocent civilians at the hands of Indian forces in neighboring Shopian district.

Youth staged protest against the killing of Javaid Ahmad and Suhail Javaid in firing by Indian troops on peaceful protesters in Ganowpora area of Shopian on Saturday night. The troops used force and fired teargas shells on the protesting youth. The clashes were going on in the area when last reports came in.

Meanwhile, shutdown continued in Shopian, today, against the killing of Javaid and Suhail.
