Several youth injured in forces’action

Srinagar, February 04 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference Chairman, Syed Ali Gilani has said that puppet Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti is a faithful stooge for her masters in New Delhi and following Joseph Goebbels theory is distorting facts for the lust of power.

Syed Ali Gilani in a statement issued in Srinagar said, the puppet Chief Minister represents Indian army and is repeatedly telling lies to hoodwink world opinion. Referring to the recent civilian killings in Shopian, the octogenarian leader deplored that Mehbooba Mufti was praising killer Indian forces as most disciplined and saviors of people of Jammu and Kashmir. He was reacting to Mehbooba Mufti’s statement wherein she had supported the continuation of draconian Armed Forces Special Powers Act in the territory. The APHC chairman said that the assertions had badly exposed her.

Islamabad, February 04 (KMS): Kashmir Solidarity Day will be observed across the world, tomorrow to express solidarity with the Kashmiri people who are struggling for their right to self-determination, envisaged by the United Nations resolutions.

A one-minute silence will be observed at 10:00am to honour the Kashmiri martyrs. February 5 is marked as national holiday in Pakistan and Azad Kashmir. »

Tehran, February 04 (KMS): An 80-minute film on Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir has been screened in Iranian cinemas to express solidarity with the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

The Iranian government rejected the Indian pressure and allowed the screening of the movie “Kashmir Dar Khoon-o-Aatish” in the cinemas of Mashhad city. Banners depicting Indian brutalities on Kashmiri people were also installed outside cinemas. »

936 people detained under PSA from July 2016 to Dec 2017

Srinagar, February 04 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the authorities have said that there is no proposal under consideration to constitute a judicial commission to probe the death of over 100 people during the 2016 uprising in the Valley.

The puppet Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti, to a question by CPI-M MLA Muhammad Yousuf Tarigami in a written reply in the so-called Kashmir Assembly said, “No such proposal is under consideration.” The CPI-M legislator had asked the puppet authorities whether they intended to constitute a judicial commission to probe the killings. »

Srinagar, February 04 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, clashes erupted in Murran area of Pulwama district early Sunday morning against the launch of a cordon-and-search-operation by Indian troops.

A joint party of army and police cordoned off Bonpora area of Murran and started house to house searches. However, youth took to streets and staged protests. Forces fired bullets and teargas shells to disperse the protesters. Many youths sustained injuries while four were detained by the police. »

ISLAMABAD, February 04 (KMS): Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has said that Kashmir is not just a territorial dispute but a question of people’s inherent right to self-determination.

He said this in his message at the eve of Kashmir Solidarity Day to be commemorated across Pakistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir on February 5 to express solidarity with the Kashmiri brethren.

He said brutal force and propaganda cannot gag the voice of freedom, nor it can alter Pakistan’s resolute and principled stance on Kashmir. »
