Brussels, February 07 (KMS): The Chairman of Kashmir Council European Union (KCEU) Ali Raza Syed has paid rich tributes to prominent Kashmiri martyrs, Muhammad Maqbool Butt and Muhammad Afzal Guru, asking the Indian government to hand over their mortal remains to their families for a proper burial in occupied Kashmir.

Ali Raza Syed in a statement issued in Brussels said, these two great martyrs are beacons in the Kashmiris’ struggle for securing their right to self-determination. He said, India acted inhumanely by holding bodies of the martyrs. “No human being and no one belonging to civilised societies in the world can accept such ruthless behaviour as India is doing with the Kashmiris,” he added.

Ali Raza Syed also maintained that by killing people and committing crimes against humanity in occupied Kashmir, India cannot suppress the Kashmiris peaceful liberation struggle. The people of Kashmir are struggling to secure their right to self-determination accepted under the UN Security Council’s resolutions and they would continue their struggle till complete success, he added.
