Srinagar, February 14 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front Chairman, Muhammad Yasin Malik was on Wednesday evening hospitalized due to blockage of the urinary tract.

A JKLF spokesperson, in a statement issued today in Srinagar said that Muhammad Yasin Malik was admitted at the Soura hospital after he felt severe pain due to blockage in the urinary tract. »

Indian agencies behind Nadeem’s killing

Srinagar, February 14 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the joint resistance leadership comprising Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik has said that the Kashmiri people do not expect justice from the Indian judiciary, as it is not different from the Indian executive and legislative authority.

The statement came in the backdrop of the reports that Indian Supreme Court had stayed legal proceedings against Major Aditya and other Army officials, who are involved in targeted killing of three civilian boys in Shopian on 28th January, 2018. The leadership maintained that none of the perpetrators has ever been brought to book or punished when it comes to Kashmir and Indian judiciary has always rescued the Indian troops involved in heinous crimes. The JRL also criticized India’s biased and aggressive media for defending the culprits. »

Srinagar, February 14 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Syed Ali Gilani, has said that the Indian agencies are involved in the killing of Muhammad Yousuf Nadeem, a member of APHC Executive Council and Secretary General of Tehreek-e-Wahdat-e Islami.

Syed Ali Gilani said that the Indian secret agencies were reviving the Ikhwan culture in the Kashmir Valley.

In an emergency meeting of the APHC, Syed Ali Gilani while paying glorious tributes to Muhammad Yousuf Nadeem termed it as a personnel loss for himself. “I am deeply pained by the killing of Nadeem. I express my condolence to the bereaved family,” he said. We are shocked over death of Yousuf Nadeem by brute hands and his untimely demise has created a void, the APHC Chairman said and added that he was a legend par excellence. “We stand with the grieved family and we express our deep and heartfelt condolences and pray for his heavenly abode,” he said. »

Srinagar, February 14 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Hurriyat forum led by Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has strongly denounced the puppet authorities for repeatedly imposing curbs in downtown are of Srinagar without any proper justification saying that the move amounts to violation of basic democratic principles.

A spokesman of the forum in a statement issued in Srinagar said just after a single incident anywhere in occupied Kashmir, the puppet authorities waste no time in imposing curbs in downtown and confining people of the area to their homes without worrying for their basic rights. He said apart from curbs, the resistance leadership is placed under house arrest thus violating their right to movement. »

Islamabad, February 14 (KMS): The Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Freedom League, Muhammad Farooq Rehmani, has eulogized the sacrifices and services of martyred freedom leaders, Ghulam Muhammad Bulla , on the eve of his martyrdom anniversary.

Muhammad Farooq Rehmani in a statement issued in Islamabad said that Ghulam Muhammad Bulla was a young freedom-fighter of 1970s, when he was tortured to death by the Indian police at Srinagar Central Jail during midnight of February 14 and 15 in 1975. He said that immediately after this heinous crime police in the dead of night shifted his dead body to Sopore, where he was buried before dawn. »

Srinagar, February 14 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Human Rights Commission has sought a report from the puppet regime into the killing of a girl, Saima Wani, who succumbed to her injuries on Sunday.

Saima Wani was shot in the head by the Indian troops on January 24, 2018, during demonstrations against a siege and search operation in Chaigund area of Shopian. The troops had also killed her brother, Sameer Wani, and another youth, Firdous Ahmad Lone, during the operation. »

Srinagar, February 14 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) comprising Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik has said that it is futile for the people of Kashmir to expect justice from the Indian judiciary, as it is no different from the Indian executive and legislative authority.

The resistance leaders in a statement issued in Srinagar said, there is no hope of justice for the daily killings of Kashmiris by the Indian forces who enjoy impunity under black laws like the Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA) and are free from accountability and prosecution. They said that eight hundred thousand Indian troops stationed in occupied Kashmir were used as a tool to maintain forcible control, and as a consequence of the unbridled powers bestowed upon them, more than one hundred thousand civilians had been killed so far. »

Srinagar, February 14 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyat leaders and organizations have paid glowing tributes to freedom leader, Ghulam Muhammad Bulla of Sopore on the eve of his 43rd martyrdom anniversary.

Ghulam Muhammad Bulla was arrested by the Indian police and killed in custody on February 15, 1975, for leading a protest rally against Indra-Abdullah Accord in Sopore. »

New Delhi, February 14 (KMS): In pursuit of hegemonic design in the region, India has decided to purchase huge weaponry worth Rs 160 billion on fast track.

The approval for the procurement of the weaponry was given at a meeting of the Defence Acquisition Council (DAC), the Defence Ministry’s highest decision making body on procurement. Capital acquisition would include 7.40 lakh assault rifles, 5,719 sniper rifles and light machine guns. »
