CRPF camps, buildings being fortified in Srinagar » Kashmir Media Service

Srinagar, February 17 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, fearing more attacks, the Indian paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has started fortifying its camps and bases in Srinagar.

The CRPF is making these preparations after the attack on the 23 Battalion headquarters at Karan Nagar this week.

The CRPF spokesman, Rajesh Yadav in a media interview in Srinagar said, “We have started fortifying our camps and buildings in Srinagar.”

“We are revamping our security arrangements. We are also putting up technical equipment and CCTV cameras so that surveillance is maintained to ward off future attacks.”

He said that the buildings surrounding the CRPF camps were being sanitised regularly. He said that the Police were also conducting this exercise now. “The police are also conducting this exercise,” he added.
