Srinagar, February 20 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Executive Body of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference today held a meeting in Srinagar under the chair of its Secretary General Ghulam Nabi Sumji and participants reviewed and discussed the prevailing grim situation in the territory including increasing human rightist abuses.

The Executive Body while paying tributes to its slain executive member, Mohammad Yusuf Nadeem, prayed for his eternal peace.

Questioning the criminal silence adopted by puppet authorities over the killing of innocent Asifa and shielding criminals of rape and murder of minor girl, the Executive Body said that they prefer to remain mum, which is extremely unfortunate and inhuman.

It was observed that authorities instead of implementing a realistic and rightful approach, are hatching conspiracies, saying that Asifa’s killing is a deliberate act and a conspiracy against Muslim community of Jammu.

The meeting was attended by Ghulam Ahmad Gulzar, Mohammad Yasin Ataie, Syed Yasoob Sibti, Syed Bashir Andrabi, Yasmeen Raja, Syed Imtiyaz Ahmad Shah, Feroz Ahmad Khan, Khawaja Firdous Ahmad, Syed Mohammad Shafi, Mohammad Shafi Lone, Prince Saleem, Peer Abdul Rashid, Mohammad Yusuf Naqash, Gulshan Abbas and Hakim Abdul Rashid.

Meanwhile, on the directives of Syed Ali Gilani, a high-level delegation led by Mohammad Yasin Ataie, Gulshan Abas, Agha Syed Yasoob and Syed Imtiyaz Ahmad Shah visited members of the bereaved family and expressed condolences and sympathy with them.
